The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is a gift from God the Father. Through the gift of the Holy Spirit we learn what to do, how to act, and what to say. Just as Jesus was obedient through the Spirit, we must also be obedient- it's the path to life! Jesus shows us how to do this very thing. Despite the many struggles, trials, and temptations he faced, he still chose to obey God. Not only that, but we can experience the Holy Spirit too! It's His gift to us until he returns. Will you accept the gift of the Holy Spirit into your heart, and allow the peace of God to flow through you? What is Jesus calling you to surrender (through obedience) so you can grow in your faith and experience a life of purpose? How can you reach others with the help of the Holy Spirit?

"And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out. Now there were Jews residing in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the crowd came together and they were bewildered, because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language. They were amazed and astonished, saying, 'Why, are not all these who are speaking Galileans? And how is it that we each hear them in our own language to which we were born?'."
